Your mission:
At Off The Record we have different teams working on scaling various European tech startups or digital brands to their next phase of growth, and in your role of Head of Growth you would be the strategic lead in such a team. Your experience enables you to quickly conceptualize their business model into a predictive growth model, which informs how their constellation of metrics contributes to their revenue goals. Not only are you numerically literate, but you can also translate data into strategical marketing and product assumptions. Based on your assessment, you will co-shape how our and their team will work on future initiatives and facilitate this during the quarterly stints we do for clients.
Overall, you are a strategic generalist but with deep knowledge of certain pillars such as performance marketing, CRM or product strategy. In most engagements, you are the client lead and will be accompanied by a specific function in performance, CRO or retention/engagement. A typical assessment of a client's challenge could be that your analysis resulted in a product strategy that would focus on product-market fit expansion and improved user onboarding. Another case could be that through plotting different scenarios in your growth model and an examination of their marketing activities, you scoped our team's work towards improving engagement metrics in order to increase long-term retention that drives their profitability per user.
Both at clients and internally, you will lead complex strategic initiatives and galvanize your team to reach goals. This also entails that you will train people around you in becoming a better growth practitioner and at the same time we at Off The Record will create an environment where you can grow as a leader.
